MESSAGE IMENITISHA NA KUNIFUNZA, HAPPY NEW YEAR PEOPLE!!!!!

Katika kijiji cha Matare wilaya ya
Mugumu Serengeti, bwana
Wambura alikamatwa kwa kesi ya
kusingiziwa na kuhukumiwa kwenda
jela miaka mitatu.

Huku nyuma akiacha mke na
watoto wanne waliokuwa
wanasoma. Hukumu hiyo ilimtesa
sana kichwa chake, alitamani kila
mtu anayemhisi kuwa ana makosa
aingie katika moyo wake na
kuupata ukweli.

Alilia na umaskini wake, lambda
angepata wakili mzuri angeweza

kumtetea, kumkosa wakili
kukahalalisha kifungo hicho!!
Alikwenda gerezani huku akiumia
sana rohoni. Aliyaanza maisha
mapya kwa shida sana, akawa
mnyonge kila mara na mwili
ukapoteza afya kiujumla.

Huko gerezani alifanikiwa kupata
rafiki aliyekuwa na cheo ama
jukumu la uzikaji wa wafungwa
hasahasa ambao hawakuwa na
ndugu ama ambao ndugu zao huwa
hawajitokezi pale gerezani.

Mzikaji alijaribu sana kumtia nguvu
Wambura na kumwaminisha kuwa
hiyo ilikuwa hatua tu ya maisha
anapaswa kuizoea na siku moja
ukweli utajulikana tu! Bwana
Wambura maneno ya mzikaji

hayakumuingia kabisa.. alizidi
kunyong’onyea.
“Siwezi kuvumilia kukaa gerezani
miaka mitatu…..kama unajali kilio
changu nisaidie nitoroke kwa
namna yoyote ile ndugu yangu!!”
Wambura alimsihi mzikaji.

SIKU MOJA mzikaji akamwambia
Wambura kuwa msaada
umepatikana. Lakini yataka moyo!!
“Nipo tayari kwa lolote ilimradi tu
nitoke humu!!” alijibu kwa msisitizo
huku akimtegea sikio mzikaji.
“Msaada pekee wa kukutorosha
humu ndani ni kwa njia ya jeneza…
yaani mfungwa akifa mimi
nakuunganisha naye kwenye
jenerza…..” akashusha pumzi kisha
akaendelea “Wewe ukisikia kengere

ya msiba, njoo mara moja kwenye
chumba cha maiti, utakuta tayari
sanduku liko katikati ya chumba
linakuwa halijafungwa, funua
kifunioko ingia ndani yake ulale
pembeni ya maiti kwani sanduku
huwa kubwa la kutosha kila aina ya
maiti na hata miili miwili inaingia.

Kisha nitakuja na kulipigilia
misumari. Baada ya muda
tutalipakia kwenye gari na kutoka
kwenda nje ya gereza makaburini
nikiongozana na baadhi ya
wafungwa na maaskari magereza.
Tutakuzika huko lakini baada ya
dakika 20 hadi 30 nitarudi
kukufukua. Hautaweza kushindwa
kupumua kwa dakika hizo, utatoka
ukiwa huru.”

JAPOKUWA wazo lilikuwa zuri lakinililimtisha sana Wambura. Hata
hivyo akaona afadhali afanye hivyo
kuliko kukaa gerezani miaka mitatu
bila kosa.

Siku moja akasikia kengere ya
msiba. Akafanya kama
alivyoelekezwa na mzikaji. Akaenda
na kuingia chumba cha maiti. Kweli
akalikuta sanduku, akiwa na hofu
kuu akaingia na kulala pembeni ya
maiti iliyokuwepo. Mara akasikia
mtu ameingia na kulipigilia
msumari sanduku. Muda mfupi
baadaye sanduku likainuliwa na
kuwekwa kwenye gari.
Gari ikatoka nje ya gereza hadi
makaburini. Sanduku likashushwa
na kuwekwa kaburini na kuanza
kufukiwa.

Wambura alijitahidi sana kuvumilia
japo hofu ilizidi kutanda.
Alimtegemea sana mzikaji na
Alimtegemea sana mzikaji na
alianza kumuona mkombozi wa
maisha yake.
Kama alivyoambiwa, akasubiri
dakika kumi, ishirini.. zikapita
kimya!!
Dakika thelathini kimya. Joto nalo
likazidi kuongezeka.
“Nitavumilia hadi afike…”
alijisemea kisha akajiongezea kauli
ya ujasiri.
“Kama nilitakiwa kuishi gerezani
miaka mitatu kivipi dakika kadhaa
za hapa kaburini”

KWA kuwa alishakaa gerezani kwa
muda kiasi akatamani kujua
aliyekufa ni nani… ni kwewli
aliogopa kuitazama maiti lakini
aliona kama inatisha zaidi ikiwa
imefunikwa vile kuliko ikiwa wazi.
Akaifunua upande wa usoni… Kwa
kuwa kulikuwa na giza nene
alikodoa sana macho kuitazama.

LAHAULA!!! MACHO YAKAKUTANA
NA SURA YA MZIKAJI!!!

MZIKAJI ALIKUWA AMEKUFA NA
AMEZIKWA NA AHADI ZAKE ZA
UKOMBOZI!!

Nelson Mandela: Six things you didn’t know

Composite image of Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela was a figure of international renown, and many details of his life and career were public knowledge. But here are six things you may not have known about the late South African leader.
1. He was a boxing fan. In his youth, Nelson Mandela enjoyed boxing and long-distance running. Even during the 27 years he spent in prison, he would exercise every morning.
"I did not enjoy the violence of boxing so much as the science of it. I was intrigued by how one moved one's body to protect oneself, how one used a strategy both to attack and retreat, how one paced oneself over a match," he wrote in his autobiography Long Walk to Freedom

2. His original name was not Nelson. Rolihlahla Mandela was nine years old when a teacher at the primary Methodist school where he was studying in Qunu, South Africa, gave him an English name - Nelson - in accordance with the custom to give all school children Christian names.
Rolihlahla is not a common name in South Africa. It is Xhosa, one of the 11 official languages in the country, spoken by about 18% of the population. It literally means "pulling the branch of a tree", but its colloquial meaning is "troublemaker".

3.He was on a US terror watch list until 2008. Prior to that, along with other former ANC leaders, Mr Mandela was only able to visit the US with special permission from the secretary of state, because the ANC had been designated a terrorist organisation by South Africa's former apartheid government.

4. He forgot his glasses when he was released from prison. Mr Mandela's release on 11 February 1990 followed years of political pressure against apartheid. On the day, he was "astounded and a little bit alarmed", he recalled later.

Mr Mandela and his then-wife Winnie were taken to the centre of Cape Town to address a huge and euphoric crowd. But when he pulled out the text of his speech, he realised he had forgotten his glasses and had to borrow Winnie's.

5. He dressed up as a chauffeur to evade police. After going under ground because of his ANC activities, Mr Mandela's ability to evade the securities services earned him the nickname "the black Pimpernel", after the novel The Scarlet Pimpernel, about a hero with a secret identity.

6. He had his own law firm, but it took him years to get a law degree. Mr Mandela studied law on and off for 50 years from 1939, failing about half the courses he took.

A two-year diploma in law on top of his university degree allowed him to practice, and in August 1952, he and Oliver Tambo established South Africa's first black law firm, Mandela and Tambo, in Johannesburg.
He persevered to finally secure a law degree while in prison in 1989.

TOO FAT TO KILL?

Too fat to kill: Rosales, pictured weighing around 1,100lbs, claimed she had accidentally killed her nephew, but investigators found she would have been incapable of the crime

Rosales, pictured weighing around 1,100lbs, claimed she had accidentally killed her nephew, but investigators found she would have been incapable of the crime

Marya Rosales, 33, who once weighed around 1,100lbs, told police she accidentally killed her sister Jaime's son Eliseo by rolling on top of him while babysitting five years ago.

But investigators found she was too heavy to have committed the crime and at her 2008 murder trial in Texas they proved she was actually covering for her sister who had who beat her son to death with a hairbrush.

Rosales, who was barely able to move and had to be cut out of her home and carried to a removal van by ten men, admitted her sister had begged her to cover for her.

Although she knew it was wrong, she said she felt she had already 'given up on life' and effectively had nothing to lose by pleading guilty to the crime, ABC reports.

Transformed: Mayra Rosales, who has lost over 800lbs, has told how she is fighting for custody of her sister's three surviving children

Rosales tells how she is now hoping to be granted custody of Jaime's three other children.

She said the children, currently living with their grandmother, call her 'mom' and were the inspiration behind her incredible weight loss.

She said: 'They were first to know when I was able to stand up for the first time, and then when they saw me walking, they saw me walk in the door, they were very excited. They are my motivation.'

NIGERIAN MINISTER NAMED FORBES AFRICAN OF THE YEAR

Nigerian Agriculture Minister Akinwumi Adesina (file photo)
Akinwumi Adesina wants to hand out free mobile phones to farmers

Nigerian Agriculture Minister Akinwumi Adesina has been named Forbes
African of the Year for his reforms to the country's farming sector.

"He is a man on a mission to help Africa feed itself," said Forbes Africa editor Chris Bishop.
Analysts say Nigeria's economy has long been dominated by oil, while agriculture has been ignored, even though it supports far more people.
Mr Adesina said he wanted to help people become rich through farming.
"My goal is to make as many millionaires, maybe even billionaires, from agriculture as possible," he said in his acceptance speech.
Aliyu Tanko from BBC Hausa says Mr Adesina has introduced more transparency into the supply and distribution of fertiliser, which had previously been marred by massive corruption.
