MFANYABIASHARA wa baa na nyumba ya kulala wageni ya Bongo Star Lodge iliyopo Kawe Ukwamani, James Isame, maarufu kama Mzee Chacha (50), anashikiliwa na Jeshi la Polisi Mkoa wa Kinondoni kwa tuhuma ya kukutwa na kichwa cha binadamu anayedhaniwa kuwa ni mlemavu wa ngozi (albino).

Kamanda wa Polisi Mkoa wa Kinondoni, Charles Kenyela amethibitisha kushikiliwa kwa mfanyabiashara huyo na kusema kuwa alikamatwa juzi saa 2:45 usiku baada ya wasamaria wema kutoa taarifa kwa jeshi hilo juu ya kuwepo kwa tukio lisilo la kawaida katika nyumba hiyo ya kulala wageni.

Alieleza kuwa, baada ya taarifa hizo, polisi waliizingira nyumba hiyo kisha wakamtafuta mjumbe wa eneo la Kawe kwa ajili ya kuthibitisha upekuzi utakaofanyika na kwamba baada ya taratibu zote, walimtaarifu muhusika ambaye alianza kuonesha upinzani juu ya kufanyiwa upekuzi.

Alisema jitihada za mtuhumiwa kuzuia upekuzi huo zilishindikana, ndipo katika kufanya kazi hiyo maeneo yote ya ndani na nje ya nyumba hiyo pamoja na baa, walifanikiwa kukuta kichwa cha binadamu kikiwa kimewekwa juu ya ukuta wa choo.

“Kilikuwa kimevingirishwa katika mfuko wa rambo na tuliweza kubaini kuwa ni kichwa cha binadamu baada ya kuona nywele na meno, ila bado hatujajua ni wa jinsia gani au kama ni mlemavu wa ngozi,” alisema Kenyela.

COURT REMANDS FATHER FOR HAVING SEX WITH HIS DAUGHTER

Tarkwa, June 13, GNA- A 54- year-old farmer, Kwasi Kumi has been remanded into prison custody by a Tarkwa Circuit Court for having sex with his 14 year-old daughter at Bissaso near Samrebio in the Western Region.
     He pleaded not guilty and would re-appear on June 27.
     Prosecuting Police Detective Chief Inspector Oscar Amponsah told the court presided over by Mr Samuel Obeng Diawuo that the victim lives with her parents at Bissaso.
     He said during May, the victim and her parents together with her young siblings travelled to Tepa for a funeral.
   He said after the funeral the victim, her father together with her siblings took the lead to Bissaso leaving the mother behind.
     According to the Prosecutor, about two weeks ago the accused entered his room and called the daughter to pick money.

When she entered the room she grabbed her and forcibly had sexual intercourse with her at the time the siblings were playing outside, after which he told her not to tell anyone about the incident.
   Detective Amponsah said on June 9, the victim started bleeding from the vagina and when she was questioned she narrated her ordeal to her mother.
   He said the victim was sent to the Samartex hospital for treatment was admitted and discharged later.
   The Prosecutor said a report was made to the police and the accused was arrested and charged with the offense.

MAN KILLS WIFE OVER SUSPISION OF FOOD POISOIN

Kagyira (W/R), June 13, GNA - Tragedy struck the people of Kagyira in the Nzema East district of the Western Region when a taxi driver, Okoe Tetteh,25, killed his pregnant wife over suspicion of food poisoning.

     According to the Axim police, the suspect Okoe Tetteh returned home from work around 0830hours on Tuesday June 12 and requested for his food.

     When his wife, Mame Yaba, who was pregnant, served him the meal but the husband complained about the food (cooked rice), which he claimed tasted unusual and accused the wife of food poisoning.

     The wife denied the allegations and a heated argument ensued between them, during which Tetteh gave his wife a hefty blow and she fell unconscious.

     He quickly rushed the unconscious wife to the Axim Government Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

     A report was made to the Axim police and Tetteh was arrested.

     He is currently languishing in police custody while police investigations continue.

     The corpse of the deceased had been kept at the Axim Government Hospital morgue pending autopsy.

WAZAZI JENGENI URAFIKI NA WATOTO WENU

A SCOUT master has been accused of molesting a boy — 30 years after abusing his victim's DAD, a court heard today.

Grey-haired Robert Major, 63, below was charged after the boy told his father what had been happening - causing him to open up about his own ordeal as a teen, his trial heard.

Major, also a lifeguard, had allegedly attacked the father in a series of encounters at a swimming pool where he was a supervisor in the 1970s.

He offered the dad, then only 11, free swimming sessions before manipulating him into performing sex acts in return, it is claimed.

The bizarre twist in the case emerged after his son told him he had been abused by Major in the 1990s, the court heard.

Prosecutor Mary Loram told Aylesbury Crown Court how the son, now 27, spent 11 years plucking up the courage to tell his parents and police.

She told the trial Major offered him cigarettes and alcohol and let him watch porn at his flat in exchange for sexual favours.

Ms Loram said: “What teenager would say no to cigarettes, alcohol and porn?”

She said this was a mirror image of what his father had experienced.

THIS sleepy schoolgirl missed her GCSEs after nodding off in April and waking up last week.

Sleepy Stacey Comerford, 15, above, suffers from a rare neurological disorder which means she enters a sleeping state for months at a time.

The last – her longest at TWO months – meant she missed NINE exams after being predicted straight A's.

Stacey, from Telford, Shropshire, is just one of 1,000 people worldwide to suffer from Kleine Levin Syndrome also known as Sleeping Beauty Syndrome.

Stacey, who hopes to return to school part time, revealed she was taunted over the condition.

She said: “I’ve missed nine exams and my b.irthday in November.

“It’s easier now people know what it is. It’s easier to explain to them. Before, people didn’t believe me. That was the hardest thing. “ People would pull faces at school if I said I was tired and needed to go home”.
