INAKUWAJE UNAPOENDA KUIBA HALAFU UNAKUTA NDANI KUNA MTU KAJIUA??

thief

A burglar who discovered a dead body hanging in a Hamilton house is unlikely to

face charges for the break-in.

The 26-year-old man made the grisly discovery early yesterday morning while

attempting to burgle the vacant house in the suburb of Fairfield.

Hamilton Police city tactical coordinator Senior Sergeant Freda Grace said the

burglar, who

called police himself to raise the alarm, had been arrested but not charged.

Mrs Grace said the man was released after helping police with their inquiries.

The incident unfolded in the early hours of yesterday morning when the burglar

stumbled across the dead body hanging in the dark.

His screams alerted neighbors who also phoned police. It’s understood they

thought the screaming was a domestic dispute.

Mrs Grace said the victim had died hours before the burglary but if not for the

break-in he may not have been found for days. She said the death of the man,

whose age is unknown,

was not being treated as suspicious and had been referred to the coroner.

The burglar was known to police and Mrs Grace hoped the “weird” circumstances

would alter his behavior.

A DEVASTATED mum in China is begging doctors to help her seven-month-old son -

who has a three-inch TAIL sticking out of his back.

Little Xiao Wei was born with spina bifida, which means his vertebrae didn't form

properly.

The result is a growth that protrudes out of the back of his spine and is STILL

GROWING.

Xiao's mum Chen, from Guangdong province, revealed: "We have asked the

surgeons to remove the tail but they tell us it is not that simple."

Surgeon Huang Chuanping explained: “The growth is quite well developed and now

measures some 10 centimetres.

“If we cut it off it will simply grow again. We need to repair the spinal canal first to

stop it reoccurring."

MAU MAU COMPENSATION

British soldiers quizzing Kenyan men

The UK government is to express regret and announce compensation for Kenyans who were tortured during the Mau Mau uprising in Kenya in the 1950s and 60s.
Foreign Secretary William Hague is expected to announce compensation in the region of £14m.
More than 5,000 Kenyans say they were mistreated - some through torture - by the then-British administration.
The British fought a bitter battle with Mau Mau insurgents who were demanding land and an end to colonial rule.
Victims have been fighting for compensation from the UK government for a number of years.
The BBC understands Mr Hague will express "sincere regret" to the victims while announcing the compensation package in the Commons.
It is also understood the government will announce plans to fund a permanent memorial to the victims in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.

'Not acceptable'
One survivor, Mwai Wanughigi, said there had been no consultation over the amount victims would receive.
He said the figure - which is said to work out at about £3,200, or 350,000 Kenyan shillings per claimant - was inadequate.

BOLLYWOOD ACTRESS HANGS HERSELF

HIVI JAMANI HUYU MREMBO AKUAMBIWA HOW BEAUTIFUL SHE WAS AU?

SHE WAS SOOO PRETTY, AND YET SOOO UNHAPPY THAT SHE DECIDED TO DIE SOOO SOON AT THE AGE OF 25 YEARS ONLY!

The 25-year-old beauty was found dead by her mother at her home in Mumbai,

Indian police said today.

A police source said the death was not being treated as suspicious as it appeared

to be suicide, although there was no suicide note.

Officers have questioned her boyfriend Suraj Pancholi, son of actor couple Aditya

Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, who was the last person Jiah phoned before she died.

Friends said the stunning actress had recently become depressed after her film

roles dried up.

Jiah, whose real name was Nafisa Khan, was born in New York and grew up in

London before moving to Mumbai.

Her death shocked the Indian film industry.

Film director Varma, who gave her her movie debut, wrote on Twitter. “Never ever

seen a debutant actress with more spunk and more spirit than Jiah when i was

directing her in Nishabd.”

He also said she had not worked in three years, adding: “I dont know the reason

what led to this but jiah was very depressed about her career and scared for her

future.”

Fellow actress Dia Mirza tweeted: “RIP Nafisa (Jiah) Khan. You were too young and

beautiful."

FIFA ELECTS FIRST WOMAN EXECUTIVE - LYDIA NSEKERA

Lydia Nsekera

Burundi FA president Lydia Nsekera has been elected as the first woman to Fifa's powerful executive committee  in the governing body's 109-year history.

Nsekera, 46, will serve a four-year term on the committee after winning the vote at the Fifa congress in Mauritius.
She collected 95 of the 203 votes ahead of Australian Moya Dodd and Sonia Bien-Aime, of Turks and Caicos Islands.
Nsekera said: "I will inspire women to believe they can lead and I will support women in member associations."
Nsekera told BBC Sport: "I am very happy to be the first woman elected. It is important for Africa, it is important for Burundi, it is important for women.
"In the executive committee, we work as a team, but personally I will carry on working in order to have more women as coaches in grassroots football.
"I will push for more women to be elected and ask parents to let their daughters play football."
