 Women charged with giving infant hot sauce 

Two Oklahoma daycare workers are facing felony child abuse charges after allegedly feeding habanero hot sauce to a 13-month-old boy and laughing as the infant writhed in agony.

The incident occurred in March at a daycare in Muscogee Creek Nation, a federally recognized tribe of Muscogee people based in Oklahoma.

Video footage of the incident shows the daycare workers feeding the infant rice that had been doused with the hot sauce, according to court documents filed last week

"The video show that shortly after eating from his second plate (the infant) appears to be in distress," court documents said.

While the infant appears to be in pain, one of the workers is seen laughing.

Witness says Philadelphia priest raped him at age 14

A tearful former altar boy testified that one of two Philadelphia priests on trial in a clergy abuse case molested him during an overnight visit at the priest's apartment.

The witness, now in his 30s, cried on the stand as he described the incident with the Rev. James Brennan, who is accused of raping the witness in 1996, when he was 14.

The man is a former Marine, who was discharged because of mental health issues.

"I was a little boy I didn't know what to do," the man testified through sobs. "I was scared.

   I was afraid that if said no he'd kill me or something," he said, crying

A Minnesota woman was arrested after shaving her daughter's head and forcing her to pick up garbage and do windsprints wearing nothing but a tank top and a diaper. The mother allegedly imposed this punishment—which she dubbed "diaper duty"—because she wasn't happy with the 12-year-old's grades, the Minneapolis Star- Tribunes reports. Neighbors called police after seeing the girl outside crying and begging to be let back inside.

By the time police showed up, the girl had been outside in the diaper for half an hour, and they described her as hysterical. They arrested the mother, 38, and her boyfriend on suspicion of misdemeanor malicious punishment of a child. One neighborhood boy said it wasn't the girl's first humiliation either—he'd seen her and her younger sister picking up garbage in diapers a month earlier.
